Banners & Sponsorship:
Crewise has a valuable relationship with our Business Partners;
which enable us at Crewise to negotiate an affordable agreement
related to banners, sponsorship, etc. Please feel free with no obligation
to discuss any proposition you may have with us. Crewise has its
own magazine, Plane Talk plus; which is also an opportunity to advertise
exclusively. Please telephone us to +44 (0) 870 458 1276.
Can I advertise in your Passport Directory?
No. In order to keep the Passport concise and easy to carry, it
will contain only listings for Business Partners. How many people
will see my business in your Passport Directory and on your website?
Every Member of Crewise will receive a copy of the Passport, which
will include your details. We aim to make our website as useful
and attractive as possible, with sophisticated and easy-to-use search
features, so that our Members will find your details there every
time they visit. We estimate that we will attract in excess of 100,000
Members in our first year of operation.
How will your Members find out about the benefits I offer?
All our Members receive our Passport Directory and have access to
our secure web site. Your details will be included in both of these,
making them available to our entire Membership, crew personnel,
frequents travellers and other online users.
How secure is your website?
We take security very seriously. We use the best of breed firewall
technology to make sure information does not fall into the wrong
hands.
Our Membership
How big is the market?
There are approximately 1.6 million airline personnel in the industry.
These figures do not include the tens of millions of frequent travellers
who will also be offered the Crewise product.
Where do your figures come from?
Airline crew figures are available from IATA at www.iata.org
The number of people working in the industry as a whole is an estimate
based on the number of airports worldwide and the number of staff
working at a small sample of those airports.
How will you recruit Members? We have a growing sales force
who work within the airline industry and who will sell Membership
to airline crew on a commission only basis. In addition, we will
be marketing to airline crew using mail shots, promotional stands
at airports and advertisements in crew magazines. Customers can
apply for Membership in person, by post, or using our website.
What services do you provide your Members besides the Privilege
Card?
Our ambition is to provide the most attractive range of services
possible to our Members to help build our reputation as a key service
provider within the airline community. Information on other services
we plan to launch this year can be found in the Marketing website.
Are all your Members airline crew?
Although we have grown from the airline community we recognize the
tremendous appeal of our services to all frequent travellers. Our
frequent traveller product, World Privilege, brings all the benefits
of Crewise Membership and more to non-airline crew.
How will I know who is a Member?
All our Members will present their Crewise Membership Card whenever
they claim a benefit provided by your company.
Our organization
Who is Crewise?
Crewise was founded in 1998 by a team of airline crew who recognized
the need to provide a service like this to the airline community.
Since its foundation, Crewise has gone from strength to strength,
unifying experts from every area of business behind a single vision
of providing world-class services for airline crew and frequent
travellers. For more detailed information, please refer to "Crewise
Today".
Aren't you just another dot com?
No. Crewise is not, and never will be reliant on the Internet for
its sales. Instead, we use the Internet as just one more way to
provide a service to our Members and potential Members. While dot
com companies typically spend millions building their brand name,
Crewise has used word of mouth within the airline community to develop
its reputation. Most dot com companies are largely funded by venture
capital, while Crewise is owned and funded by airline crew past
and current.
Will I have to advertise your company in any way?
No. However, we believe that you will get the best results from
entering into a partnership with us and if you wish to advertise
Crewise in your establishment, we will be happy to provide you with
promotional material.
Operating as a Business Partner
How will the benefit scheme operate in my business?
It is up to you how the benefit you provide will operate. For smaller
businesses, it is usually convenient simply to apply the discount
at the point of sale on production of the Crewise Card. In other
circumstances, the benefit can be utilized by using an existing
system for providing discounts, for example by issuing vouchers
from a customer service desk. There is a minimum required discount
of 10% or any privilege.
Who will train my staff?
You know your staff better than anyone and it is up to you how and
when you train them. We will provide supporting materials that will
help them identify the Crewise Card and supporting identification.
